Welcome!

Hello there, my name’s Guilliean Pacheco. It’s a hard G pronunciation. So what do I do here?

My goal is to deliver editing and writing services of the highest quality with Writeropolis Industries. As a solopreneur, I focus on bringing out my clients’ voices without silencing them. My edits aren’t one-sided; they’re dialogues. To help you achieve the results you are seeking, I make thorough, accurate, and personalized recommendations.

Alongside my competitively priced writing & editing services, I offer daily office hours, 25-point website audits, résumé evaluations, and soon, web hosting.

I hold space for my fellow writers of color with low-key places to exist by providing the City of Writers Radio podcast, a digital Silent Book Club, and weekly writing sprints.

Want to get started? Schedule a time to chat with me today. I’m ready to help you!

The Show is Emotional, Don’t Tell

April 13, 2022

If you’re new to writing or you’re on a journey to soak up whatever knowledge you can find, you may be wondering why writers decide to do what they do. Write down a handful of scenes on notecards, and shuffle them around to suit whatever thought process you’re trying to work out. It’s a useful […]

11 Ways to Talk About Body Language

April 6, 2022

However, body language can be extremely revealing, and it can also be surprisingly easy to pick up—often without even realizing it. For example, the “head tilt” is often used in emotional displays. When someone is nervous, they may […]

30 Overused Words and Their Alternatives

March 30, 2022

Writing of Constant Sorrow

March 23, 2022

Most people write to express their feelings or to entertain their readers. However, some write to make the world a more peaceful place. The weather in Oakland keeps changing. It’s no longer hot in the morning, or cold in the evening. It’s not raining, it’s not humid. It’s not windy. It’s not sunny. It’s not […]
